Operating since 2000 from Douglas in the Northern Cape, Jacques has established the area as one of the prime fly-fishing locations in the country, and his knowledge has been shared with countless fisherman from all over the world.
As a competitive fly fisherman Jacques was chosen for the first ever South African flyfishing team to participate in Sweden at the World Flyfishing Championships. His last World Flyfishing Championships was in 2017. This gave him the opportunity to fish with and learn from the best in the world.
Africa First offers comfortable guided fishing and hunting safari’s in some of the most remote destinations in Southern Africa, Douglas, Sterkfontein Dam, Vanderkloof Dam, Gariep Dam, lower orange river and Seychelles.
